Wise Butterfly Inc., doing business as WisePal ("WisePal," "we," "us," or "our"), provides this Policy for information handled through its websites, applications, bill-negotiation and monitoring services, and comparison and referral features (the "Services"). These include electricity and property tax opportunities. Car insurance estimation, discussion of specific policy terms, and referrals are conducted through WisePal Insurance Agency, LLC. This Policy covers the parent company's platform activities; the Agency Privacy and Financial Information Notice governs the Agency's insurance-information handling.

Not every category is collected for every Service. Our Consumer Privacy Notice (FACTS) describes applicable financial-information practices. More specific financial or insurance notices, data-source restrictions, and legally required permissions control the information they cover. This Policy is notice of practices, not blanket consent.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

Depending on the Service, we may collect:

Identity and contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, service address, and date of birth.

Provider and bill information, such as your service providers, account numbers, plans, prices, billing history, bills or billing statements, products and features, promotional rates, and other information concerning recurring expenses.

Account authentication and verification information, such as account PINs, passcodes, Provider login information, telephone-number verification information, one-time verification codes, or other information used to identify or authenticate a Provider account.

Payment information, such as card, bank-account, billing, and transaction information used to verify a payment method or pay WisePal fees. Payment information may be collected or processed directly by a third-party payment processor. Depending on the payment method, we may not receive or store complete card or bank credentials. Processors handle information under their own privacy and security obligations.

Financial and account information relevant to a requested Service, such as balances, transactions, payment history, and insurance information. We do not request or use creditworthiness information or obtain consumer reports for these Services, and do not share creditworthiness information with affiliates or other recipients.

Comparison and referral information, such as current provider, service or coverage details, price, renewal date, preferences, property address and assessment or tax information, and electricity usage or tariff details. Car insurance information may include insurer, premium, coverage, renewal date, vehicles, and household drivers. Insurance inputs support estimates and policy discussions, not an application submitted by WisePal; creditworthiness is not an input.

Identity-verification information used to verify a person, device, telephone number, or authority over an account, which may include a Social Security number or other identifier where relevant.

Communications, including messages you send to WisePal, customer-support communications, responses to SMS messages, emails, telephone communications, and information generated in connection with bill negotiations.

Call recordings and transcripts, where recording or transcription is permitted by applicable law.

Preferences and instructions, including negotiation preferences, communication preferences, payment selections, consent records, and instructions concerning your Provider accounts.

1.2 Connected accounts

You may connect an email, bank, Provider, or other account. We and service providers may receive information within the permissions you authorize to provide the disclosed feature. Connections are optional unless the feature identifies them as necessary.

Email access may identify bills, account updates, Provider communications, or verification messages relevant to a request and support bill monitoring. Financial-account connections may provide account, balance, transaction, or payment information. Available access and the source's terms limit each connection.

You may disconnect through available account-provider or Service controls or request assistance at support@wisepal.com. Disconnection stops the connection; deletion concerns information already held. Retention remains subject to Section 6.2 and source restrictions. Neither request extinguishes a valid earned fee.

1.3 Other sources and automatic collection

Other sources may include identity, telephone-number and fraud-verification services; payment and bank-connectivity providers; Providers contacted at your direction; Partners supplying offers you request; affiliates; public property and assessment records; and analytics or security services. These sources do not authorize creditworthiness use excluded above.

We may automatically collect device identifiers, IP address, browser type, operating system, pages or screens viewed, referring pages, interactions, session duration, approximate location derived from IP address, timestamps, cookies, and similar usage or diagnostic information. Section 4 explains the related technologies and advertising uses.

2. Uses, Automation, and Data Development

2.1 Providing and supporting the Services

We use information to identify and verify accounts; review bills and available updates; negotiate with Providers as your limited agent; document results; calculate savings; identify further opportunities; and provide comparisons and provider offers. For insurance, relevant information supports estimates, discussion of specific coverage terms, and provider links.

Other uses include payment processing and collection, support, dispute resolution, Service communications, fraud prevention, security, quality assurance, analytics, development, marketing as described below, and legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements.

2.2 Artificial intelligence and source restrictions

Artificial intelligence and automated tools may assist with Provider calls and chats, bill analysis, monitoring, verification, communications, transcription, support, fraud prevention, and technology development.

We may use information to operate, evaluate, test, train, and improve supporting technologies, subject to applicable law, this Policy, and source restrictions. Aggregated or de-identified information may be used where appropriate. These permissions do not authorize an AI provider to use restricted connected-account information for its own general-purpose models or advertising.

Restrictions imposed by a connected-account provider continue to apply to covered information and its derivatives. WisePal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements (https://developers.google.com/terms/api-services-user-data-policy). General references to advertising, improvement, or de-identification do not override those restrictions.

2.3 Aggregated and de-identified information

We may create aggregated statistics or de-identified information for analytics, research, benchmarking, and development, subject to applicable law and source restrictions.

Where we rely on legally de-identified status, we maintain and use the information in that form and do not attempt re-identification except as law permits to test de-identification. That treatment is subject to the applicable safeguards and recipient restrictions.

Information that does not qualify remains personal information. Removing direct identifiers or aggregating information does not remove source restrictions.

3. Disclosures and Other Recipients

Providers You Ask Us to Contact

We disclose information to a Provider as reasonably necessary to identify and verify the account, review services, negotiate, and address an authorized request or dispute.

This may include contact and account details, bills, plan information, PINs, passcodes, or verification information you supplied or authorized us to use.

Service Providers

We disclose information to companies that perform services for WisePal, such as:

Hosting and storage; communications; AI and automation; payment processing, lawful collection, and bank connectivity; identity verification; fraud prevention; support; analytics and security; document processing; referral administration; and professional services, including legal counsel.

Recipients receive information for their functions, subject to applicable legal, contractual, and source restrictions. Describing a function as a service does not authorize independent marketing use of protected information.

Advertising and Analytics Partners

We may disclose identifiers and online activity for the website activities in Section 4. Information supplied in the insurance estimation flow, estimate results, and insurance-flow events are not disclosed to advertising platforms for advertising or conversion measurement. This restriction also applies to insurance information handled through the parent platform.

Partners and Third-Party Products

When you request an estimate, comparison, or provider offer, relevant request information may be handled as necessary to obtain or present it, subject to applicable permissions and financial-information restrictions. A bill-negotiation request does not authorize disclosure to an unrelated provider for its own solicitation.

Our provider-offer arrangements cover electricity, property tax services, insurance, and other opportunities identified in the applicable feature. We obtain or display an offer for you. The provider's direct customer process begins if you click through and choose to proceed; it then collects contact details and any legally required communication permissions under its own disclosures.

We do not sell customer contact details as leads for independent solicitation under these arrangements. A displayed offer or click alone is not consent to marketing calls, texts, or emails. The provider's notice governs information it collects independently after you choose to proceed.

We may receive compensation associated with offers and referrals, which may affect selection and placement. Insurance compensation is solely for clicks, not quotes or policy purchases. Other compensation arrangements are described in the applicable feature.

Referral service providers may process information needed to deliver requested links and account for clicks under applicable restrictions. This does not authorize independent marketing or disclosure of insurance-flow information to advertising platforms. Technical or hashed identifiers can remain personal information.

Affiliates

Our affiliate WisePal Insurance Agency, LLC may receive information for an insurance service you request, administration, or another permitted purpose consistent with FACTS and applicable source restrictions. Creditworthiness information is not shared. The separately headed affiliate-marketing notice in the Agency notice describes the applicable choice; receiving a notice is not itself consent to covered marketing.

Corporate Transactions

Information may be disclosed in a proposed or completed financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or asset sale, subject to applicable confidentiality, notice, consent, and source restrictions.

Legal, safety, authorization, and dispute matters

We may disclose relevant information to comply with lawful process, prevent fraud or security incidents, protect rights or safety, enforce agreements, or establish or defend legal claims.

This may include relevant authorization, account-submission, verification, communication, or Service records provided to a Provider, payment or communications service, or another party involved in verifying authority or resolving a complaint or dispute, subject to applicable restrictions.

At Your Direction

We may disclose information when you direct us or consent to the disclosure.

Independent third parties have their own privacy practices. Their notices govern information they collect independently; this does not exclude responsibility imposed by law for our own information handling.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We do not operate a business selling personal information to data brokers or sell contact details as provider leads. Some website advertising or analytics disclosures may nevertheless be a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising under applicable state law. Payment for a click does not determine that classification. Financial and insurance information remains subject to the more specific restrictions described above and in Section 8.

Cookies, pixels, and browser or server-side technologies may operate and secure the Services, remember preferences, analyze use, measure advertising, and display relevant ads based on interactions outside the insurance flow. Insurance-flow information is excluded from advertising-platform disclosures as described in Section 3.

These activities may involve device identifiers, IP addresses, URLs, interactions, and registration or conversion events outside the insurance flow. Third parties may collect activity over time and across services. Session-analysis tools may help explain website use. These descriptions do not authorize collection or disclosure prohibited by law or source restrictions.

Google Analytics supports website-use analysis. Information about Google's practices is at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites and its Analytics opt-out add-on is at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Taboola advertising technology supports advertising measurement and delivery outside the insurance flow. Its practices and choices are described at https://www.taboola.com/policies/privacy-policy. Other analytics and advertising providers may support the activities described here, subject to the same restrictions.

Browser, device, and provider controls may limit some technologies; they do not necessarily affect server-side activity or other devices. Disabling technologies may affect functionality. Privacy requests may be sent as described in Section 7.

The Website does not currently implement a site-wide response to the legacy Do Not Track signal. That signal is distinct from opt-out preference signals recognized by applicable law. Statutory signal and privacy rights remain applicable where they cover the activity.

5. Communications

We may send negotiation, verification, monitoring, result, payment, support, and security communications concerning Services you request. Non-promotional communications reasonably related to Services you request do not depend on your promotional-text opt-in and remain subject to applicable permissions.

We may email you about WisePal Services, subject to applicable law and your choices. Promotional text messages, including insurance and other savings or switching offers, are governed by the general promotional-text consent you provide and the senders and scope identified in that opt-in. Use an email unsubscribe option, reply STOP to a text, or contact support@wisepal.com to express a preference or revoke consent. Applicable law governs the scope and effect of the request, including any reasonable method of revocation it recognizes.

Marketing preferences do not themselves cancel a requested Service or eliminate a valid earned payment obligation. Further Service and payment communications remain subject to applicable permissions and contact restrictions.

6. Security and Retention

6.1 Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure.

6.2 Retention

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose and any lawful retention requirement, which may include:

Services and authorized follow-up; payment, lawful collection, and accounting records; security and fraud prevention; evidence of authorization and results; disputes; and legal or regulatory requirements.

Periods vary by information type and purpose. A closed account may leave records needed for these purposes; it does not authorize retention beyond applicable legal or source limits.

7. Privacy Rights and Requests

Depending on the applicable law, information, and jurisdiction, rights may include access, portability, correction, deletion, information about sources or disclosures, and limits on sale, sharing, targeted advertising, sensitive-information use, or legally significant profiling. Financial and insurance information can be governed by different rules and exemptions.

Send a request to support@wisepal.com, identifying the request and relevant interaction. Do not include passwords, PINs, one-time codes, or complete payment credentials. An account is not required solely to make a request.

Identity or agent-authority verification may apply to access, correction, deletion, and similar requests. An authorized agent may act where permitted. Verification is not required for an opt-out where law prohibits it.

Where an appeal is available, send it to support@wisepal.com and identify the decision. Applicable response periods, exceptions, appeal procedures, and rights against discrimination govern.

California and other state rights

California residents and other residents with applicable rights may use the request process above. Categories and sources are in Section 1; purposes in Section 2; recipients and advertising practices in Sections 3 and 4; and retention criteria in Section 6.

Coverage depends on statutory thresholds, exemptions, and the information involved. New York contractual law does not displace mandatory privacy rights.

8. Financial Privacy

Our Consumer Privacy Notice (FACTS) governs the financial information and activities it covers. The Agency notice governs the Agency's insurance-information handling and associated choices.

9. Children's Privacy

Accounts and Services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly offer accounts to children under 18. An adult's insurance request may include information about another driver or household member with the required authority.

Contact support@wisepal.com if you believe a child's or another person's information was submitted without appropriate authority.

10. Changes and Contact

We may revise this Policy and its date. Changes remain subject to legally required notice or consent and do not by posting alone authorize a materially different use of previously collected information. Applicable choices remain effective according to their scope.
