Insurance Agency Information

WisePal Insurance Agency, LLC

Last Updated: November 4, 2026

WisePal Insurance Agency, LLC (the "Agency," "we," "us," or "our") provides car insurance estimates and provider links and discusses specific policy benefits, terms, conditions, and coverage differences as part of that process. This notice describes the personal and financial information handled for those activities. The feature does not issue insurer quotes, submit applications, bind coverage, or administer policies.

Wise Butterfly Inc. operates the WisePal platform and bill-negotiation service. Its Privacy Policy governs its own information handling; this notice governs ours. This notice does not authorize consumer reports, unrestricted marketing, or a waiver of privacy rights.

1. Information we collect and its sources

Information may include identity and contact details, current insurer and premium, coverage and renewal details, vehicles, household drivers, insurance preferences, estimates, referral and click records, communications, and consent choices. Not every category is collected for every request. We do not request or use creditworthiness information, obtain consumer reports for this feature, or share creditworthiness information with affiliates or other recipients.

Sources include you, your communications, and our affiliate Wise Butterfly Inc. for a requested insurance service or another permitted purpose. Information from a connection you authorize remains subject to its source restrictions. An estimate request does not authorize a consumer report, driving record, claims report, or insurance application.

Online interactions may generate device, browser, identifier, IP address, approximate location, and usage information. Service providers may process it for permitted operation, security, and service functions. Communications may be recorded or transcribed to the extent permitted by law.

Information collected through the platform may be supplied to us for a requested estimate, policy discussion, provider link, or other permitted activity. Creditworthiness information is excluded. General acceptance of a privacy notice does not replace separately required permission.

2. How we use information

We use information to estimate costs or savings, discuss policy terms and coverage differences, present provider links, respond to requests, communicate as permitted, document referral compensation, prevent fraud, support systems, resolve disputes, and satisfy legal, regulatory, accounting, and tax requirements. Available renewal information may help identify later opportunities or updated estimates. No insurer quote, underwriting decision, binding, or policy administration is performed through this feature.

Automated tools may assist with analysis, communications, support, fraud prevention, and service improvement, subject to applicable law and source restrictions. They do not expand a customer's authorization or confer licensing authority. Restricted connected-account information is not authorized for an AI provider's own general-purpose model or advertising.

Source restrictions continue after an affiliate or service-provider transfer, including restrictions on connected-account information and its derivatives. General references to technology improvement or de-identification do not override them.

3. How we disclose financial and other personal information

Relevant identity, insurance, communication, and interaction information may be disclosed to our affiliate and service providers for administration, hosting, communications, permitted analytics, security, link delivery, referral accounting, and professional services. Disclosure may also occur to regulators, courts, authorities, or parties you direct where legally permitted. Legal, contractual, and source restrictions govern recipients and their permitted uses.

Insurance-link compensation is solely per click, not dependent on a quote or policy purchase. It may vary and affect link selection and placement. Under these arrangements, providers begin their direct process if you click through and choose to proceed, collect contact details themselves, and obtain any legally required communication permissions. We do not sell your contact details as insurance leads. Neither an estimate nor a click supplies required marketing consent. Contact support@wisepal.com for information about compensation associated with your request; applicable producer-disclosure rights remain available.

Our affiliate is Wise Butterfly Inc. We may disclose transactions-and-experiences information for administration, support, requested services, or other lawful purposes consistent with the notices. We do not share creditworthiness information. Affiliate status does not remove use restrictions.

Service providers may help deliver our own communications subject to applicable restrictions. We do not jointly market with nonaffiliated financial companies or supply contact details for independent provider solicitation under this feature. Other disclosures of protected financial information require an applicable legal permission or exception and any required notice, choice, contract, or authorization.

Information supplied in the insurance estimation flow, estimate results, and insurance-flow events are not disclosed to advertising platforms for advertising or conversion measurement. This does not prevent restricted service providers from processing information necessary to operate the requested feature, deliver links, or account for clicks. Such processing is not permission for independent advertising use.

Information may be disclosed in a proposed or completed financing, acquisition, merger, reorganization, or business transfer, subject to applicable confidentiality, consent, notice, and source restrictions.

Independent providers govern their own quote, application, and policy processes and the information they collect there. Our referral arrangement does not give them permission to contact you outside their own valid permissions.

4. Financial privacy choices and former customers

Federal law allows limits on certain affiliate creditworthiness sharing, affiliate marketing use, and nonaffiliate marketing disclosures, with exceptions for permitted activities. State law can provide additional rights.

Section 3 describes our disclosures. Any additional notice, opt-out opportunity, or authorization required for another disclosure remains necessary; this notice is not itself that authorization. The affiliate-marketing choice appears below.

Former-customer information remains subject to this notice, applicable choices, and lawful retention requirements.

5. Communications and marketing choices

The Agency may send insurance marketing emails subject to applicable law and your choices. Insurance promotional text messages may be covered by your general WisePal promotional-text consent where that consent includes the Agency and insurance promotions. Use an email unsubscribe option, reply STOP to a text, or contact support@wisepal.com to express a preference or revoke consent. Applicable law governs the scope and effect of the request, including other reasonable revocation methods. An estimate request or provider-link click does not itself create or expand promotional-text consent. Consent is not a condition of purchase where prohibited by law.

We may send non-promotional communications reasonably related to an insurance service you request, subject to applicable permissions. These communications do not depend on your promotional-text opt-in.

A marketing choice does not itself cancel an estimate request or an insurance policy. Providers administer their policies. Further communications remain subject to applicable permissions and contact restrictions.

Affiliate Marketing Notice - Your Choice

This affiliate-marketing notice is provided by Wise Butterfly Inc. and WisePal Insurance Agency, LLC. It concerns the Agency's use of information received from Wise Butterfly Inc. to market insurance services. It does not make the companies joint providers of other services.

Federal law gives you the right to limit some, but not all, marketing from affiliates, which are companies related by common ownership or control. The Agency may receive transactions-and-experiences information from Wise Butterfly Inc., including requested services, account and payment history, and insurance requests, and may use it for insurance marketing subject to applicable law and your choices.

To direct the Agency not to use this information to market to you, email support@wisepal.com or write to WisePal Insurance Agency, LLC, 7001 N Locust St, Gladstone, MO 64118-2531. State that you wish to opt out of affiliate marketing and provide identifying contact details, but no passwords, PINs, or payment credentials. No special wording is required for a clear request. The choice remains effective until you change it.

Permitted exceptions, such as responding to a specific request or authorization, remain available. The choice does not prevent permitted non-marketing use or withdraw a broader valid choice. Covered solicitations remain subject to any required delivery of notice and opportunity to opt out.

6. Security and retention

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or method can be guaranteed completely secure.

We retain information as reasonably necessary for estimates and referrals, accounting and regulatory records, security, authorizations, disputes, and legal obligations. Retention varies by information and purpose and remains subject to legal and source limits. Account closure and deletion are distinct; required records may remain after closure.

7. Access, correction, and other privacy rights

Applicable rights may include access, copies, correction, deletion, source and disclosure information, and limits on certain uses or disclosures. Rights depend on the information, activity, jurisdiction, and exemptions. Contact support@wisepal.com or the address in Section 12.

Where insurance information-practices law applies, you may request reasonably identifiable and retrievable recorded personal information. Applicable access rights include institutional sources and recorded recipients during the preceding two years, or the categories ordinarily receiving information where individual recipients were not recorded.

You may request correction, amendment, or deletion of inaccurate, irrelevant, or unfair information. Applicable rights include reasons for a denial, a statement of disagreement, and transmission of corrections or that statement to recipients as required by law. These rights do not require deletion of every accurate record.

Identify the information and proposed correction and supply details reasonably needed to locate and verify the record. Applicable deadlines, verification, permitted copying charges, privileges, and exceptions govern. Authorized agents may act where law permits. No account is required solely to submit a request, and opt-outs do not require verification where prohibited.

Where an appeal is available, send it to support@wisepal.com and identify the decision. Applicable appeal and nondiscrimination rights remain available.

8. State and specially protected information

New York: applicable insurance privacy requirements govern financial information. Disclosure of nonpublic personal health information requires an authorization or applicable exception; a website-policy acknowledgment is not a substitute.

California: this notice describes insurance information categories, sources, collection practices, and disclosures. Section 7 describes applicable access and correction rights. Insurance or financial-information exemptions do not automatically extend to every website interaction.

Vermont: creditworthiness disclosures to affiliates require consent or another applicable legal permission. Nonaffiliate disclosures remain subject to applicable authorization requirements and exceptions.

Nevada: a consumer with a Nevada mailing address may request placement on our internal Do Not Call List by contacting WisePal Insurance Agency, LLC at the postal address in Section 12, telephone +1 (979) 271-6060, or support@wisepal.com. The Nevada Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection may be contacted at 1 State of Nevada Way, Suite 100, Las Vegas, NV 89119; 702-486-3132; AGInfo@ag.nv.gov.

Other mandatory state protections remain applicable regardless of a contractual choice of New York law.

9. Online technologies and third-party services

The shared website uses online technologies described in Section 4 of the WisePal Privacy Policy. That section applies only to the extent consistent with this notice. The insurance-flow exclusion in Section 3 above controls over any broader advertising description.

Browser, device, and provider controls affect only the technologies they cover. Applicable statutory choices remain available. Changing a tracking preference does not cancel an insurance request or policy.

Independent provider sites have their own privacy practices. This does not exclude responsibility imposed by law for our own information handling.

10. Children and additional insured persons

Services are directed to adults. Information about an additional driver or household member may be processed for an adult's request with the required authority. Contact support@wisepal.com about information submitted without appropriate authority.

11. Changes to this notice

We may revise this notice and its date. Any legally required notice or consent remains applicable; posting does not itself expand past authorizations.
